The Tintometer AF333 provides precise visual grading according to the Iodine Colour Scale (DIN 6162). The scale ranges from yellow to brown, from 1 for the lightest colour to 500 for the darkest, and is mainly used in European countries for solvents, plasticisers, resins, oils, and fatty acids. For colours registering 1 or less on the Iodine Colour scale, Platinum-Cobalt Units are applicable.
Based on the Comparator System 2000, this kit includes three colour-grading discs with stable-coloured glass standards. Samples in 25mm or 10mm glass cells are viewed in the Comparator with the appropriate test disc until a colour match is obtained, ensuring accurate visual assessment.
