The Scanivalve DSA5200 All-Media 16-Channel Pressure Scanner (DSA5200) is an Ethernet data acquisition system for measuring compatible liquid and non-dry media such as water, oil, fuel and vapour. It supports configurable gauge pressure ranges from 1 to 1,500 psig, with synchronous engineering-unit data output at up to 5,000 samples per channel per second.
Key Features
- All-media pressure measurement, supporting compatible water, oil, fuel, vapour and other non-dry media
- Sixteen synchronous pressure channels, with a dedicated pressure sensor architecture for each input
- Fast engineering-unit output, providing data at up to 5,000 samples per channel per second
- Individual 24-bit conversion, using a dedicated A/D converter and RTD for each pressure sensor
- Configurable gauge pressure ranges, with available full-scale ranges from 1 to 1,500 psig
- Range-dependent measurement accuracy, reaching ±0.06% of full scale across 5 to 500 psi configurations
- Integrated bleed or fill valves, fitted to each channel to assist with filling lines and reducing trapped air bubbles
- Multiple ranges in one unit, supporting single-range or dual-range All-Media configurations
- No external control pressure required, as All-Media builds do not use the integrated calibration valve found in gas configurations
- Gigabit Ethernet communication, supporting high-speed connection and engineering-unit data transfer
- Precision time synchronisation, with IEEE 1588-2008v2 PTP compliance
- Rugged environmental protection, with an IP67-rated enclosure for demanding measurement environments
Note: This item represents the base All-Media configuration. The pressure range, communication type, input fittings, sealing compound, heater and shock-mount requirements must be specified when ordering. The Quick-Disconnect input header is not available for All-Media builds.
Benefits
- Measures multiple compatible liquid pressures through a single compact data acquisition system.
- Captures channel data synchronously, avoiding timing differences associated with internally multiplexed scanners.
- Reduces signal-processing requirements by transmitting pressure readings directly in engineering units.
- Helps minimise air-related measurement errors through a dedicated bleed or fill valve on each channel.
- Allows the pressure ranges, input fittings and sealing compounds to be configured for the measurement medium.
- Supports installation in challenging environments through IP67 protection and an optional All-Media heater configuration.
Why Choose the Scanivalve DSA5200 All-Media 16-Channel Pressure Scanner (DSA5200)?
The Scanivalve DSA5200 combines multi-channel liquid pressure measurement, fully synchronous conversion and Ethernet data output in a configurable IP67 package. John Morris Group can assist with selecting the required pressure ranges, seal compounds, fittings and environmental options for the intended measurement media.
