Phoenix BLACK™ Airwave™ + Sulfated Ash - 220-240V/50Hz
The Phoenix BLACK™ Airwave™ muffle furnace utilized microwave energy to quickly reach temperature and maintain 3.7 m³ (130 ft³) of air flow per minute through the 5.0 L cavity to rapidly ash materials and remove combustion by-products. Unit comes configured with the Sulfated Ash option that allows for easy installation of all glassware and provides connections for needed accessories. Manufactured by CEM® Corporation, ISO-9001 certified. This technology is protected under US patent 5,318,754.
Includes:
- Furnace - High Capacity furnace insert for use in the Phoenix BLACK™ Sulfated Ash, safe to 1000°C. Holds up to (15) 20/50 mL CEM® Quartz Fiber Crucibles or (12) 100 mL CEM® Quartz Fiber Crucibles. Includes insert, flue, heating element, quartz plate/ceiling, chimney, and dual thermocouple.
- Accessory Kit - Contains furnace insert cooling fan, scrubber assembly, 8 ft stainless steel exhaust hose, applicable fuses, and all necessary glassware to perform Sulfated Ash in the Phoenix BLACK™ as well as (4) 50 mL CEM® Quartz Fiber Crucibles, (4) 20 mL CEM® Quartz Fiber Crucibles, (1) crucible pen and operation manual.
