GUNT HM 170.21 - Aerofoil with Slat and Slot Flap

The GUNT HM 170.21 Aerofoil with Slat and Slot Flap is designed for use in the measuring section of the HM 170 wind tunnel to study flow around bodies. The aerofoil model features an adjustable slat and an adjustable slot flap at the rear. The slat separation to the leading edge of the base profile can be varied, while the slot flap can be adjusted in angle and separation or detached entirely. The base profile with the slat corresponds to the symmetrical NACA 0015 profile. Circular covering discs prevent secondary flows. The aerofoil is placed in the force sensor to measure the drag force acting on it.
