DWK Life Sciences DURAN GLS 80 Stirred Reactor, incl. 2000 ml GLS 80 Bottle, GL 14 PP Screwing, 2 x GL 14 and GL 18 PBT Caps, is suitable for a wide range of laboratory mixing processes. The screwthread connections (2 x GL14, 2 x GL18) allow addition or removal of media from the bottle during mixing. The whole assembly can be autoclaved and is therefore suitable for fermentation and culture applications. Using components from the GLS 80 connection system, an additional media bottle (Tubing o.d.: 1.6 to 12.0 mm) can be connected or a sterile pressure equalizer attached. Drive for the stirrer is provided by a standard commercial magnetic stirrer. The variable length stirrer shaft can be used in GLS 80 laboratory glass bottles (1000 and 2000 ml) and provides improved mixing compared to standard magnetic stirrer bars. The paddle is exchangeable and can be used up to 500 rpm.
