Each hot plate is custom designed. Select a favorite body color and choose between a glass ceramic or ceramic-coated aluminum plate surface. The glass ceramic plate is chemical resistant, easy to clean, and allows for very high plate temperatures; plus the white surface ensures good visibility of color changes. The ceramic-coated aluminum plate offers excellent heat transmission, rapid heating with a 700-watt element, even temperature distribution, and is chemical resistant.
The premium interface model offers a full-color 4" TFT screen which simultaneously displays set and actual temperatures of the sample. An advanced control algorithm automatically measures the rate of temperature rise to judge the capacity and nature of samples, then optimizes the heating rate. An audible alert sounds when the set temperature has been reached. Individual temperature profiles can be created, added, and saved to the hot plate allowing for fast setup of complicated experimental procedures. Built-in connectivity allows the unit to be updated in the field when new firmware versions are available. For accurate sample temperature control to within ±1°C, plug in the PTFE-temperature probe (included) to the rear of the unit.
