The Cole-Parmer Borosilicate Glass Tubing, 48" Length × 4 mm OD, Standard Wall, 520/CS offers excellent mechanical strength and thermal stability for laboratory and industrial applications. Manufactured from high-quality borosilicate glass, this tubing has a low coefficient of expansion, making it resistant to thermal shock. The softening point is reached at 821°C (1509°F), and the working point at 1252°C (2285°F). Smaller diameters can be bent using a blast burner with gas alone, while larger diameters require a gas and oxygen flame. All tubes are pre-cut to 48 inches for convenience.
