Bohlender Stirrer Shafts, PTFE with Stainless Steel Core, Half-Moon, 450 mm Length, 8 mm Shaft Diameter, feature a PTFE-jacketed stainless steel shaft and a solid PTFE paddle for safe and chemically resistant mixing. The stainless steel core provides stability and allows secure attachment to a stirrer chuck. The semi-circular paddle shape is ideal for mixing in round-bottom flasks, and the pivoting blade allows insertion into vessels with narrow necks or ground joints. These stirrer shafts are similar in size to KPG glass stirring rods and are easily interchangeable.
