Connecting with Future Innovators at the ASSCR EMCR Symposium

The ASSCR EMCR Symposium at Monash University was a vibrant gathering of early-career researchers, and the John Morris Group was proud to be part of it. The event provided an excellent platform to connect with emerging scientists and showcase cutting-edge laboratory technologies that support breakthroughs in life science research.

Our team was on-site presenting innovative lab solutions from our trusted global partners, including:

  • PHCbi – Experts in CO₂ incubators, ultra-low temperature freezers, and biomedical preservation solutions designed for reliable cell culture and storage.

  • Sigma  – High-performance centrifuges engineered for precision, speed, and safety in everyday lab routines.

  • Bruker Cellular Analysis – Advanced cellular imaging and analysis platforms that deliver high-content, high-throughput data for life science research.

  • Gilson – Trusted for pipettes, liquid handling systems, and purification instruments that offer accuracy and reproducibility in laboratory workflows.

  • Memmert  – German-built ovens, incubators, and climate chambers that ensure stable, controlled environments for critical applications.

  • Cole-Parmer – A comprehensive range of laboratory supplies, fluid handling, and analytical instrumentation for diverse scientific needs.

  • INFORS HT – Our newest brand offering bioreactors, incubator shakers, and bioprocess software tailored to biotechnological and pharmaceutical research.

We were especially excited to introduce INFORS HT, a recent addition to our portfolio. INFORS HT brings precision-engineered solutions for bioprocessing and microbial and cell culture applications, ideal for research laboratories aiming to scale their innovation.

The symposium was not just about showcasing equipment. Our “Guess the Number of Pipette Tips” challenge added a fun, interactive twist to the day. Congratulations to the winners who nailed it.

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and shared their research goals. Events like these reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting the next generation of scientific innovation across Australia.
