The CPC (Colder) LCD series quick-disconnect hose barb body and insert fittings are built to endure the most demanding applications and are ideal for use with higher temperatures or pressures. The fittings feature an automatic shutoff spring-operated stainless-steel valve which closes and seals the fluid pathway upon decoupling, protecting the sterility on each side of the system. The high-efficiency design delivers superior flow capacity with minimal spillage in a compact size. An ergonomic thumb latch allows you to safely connect and disconnect the fittings with the use of one hand, even with gloves on. The fittings can operate in temperatures from -40 to 180 °F (-40 to 82 °C) and pressures from vacuum to 250 psi (17.3 bar).
